Was the greatest learning and development of my retail career. Was this review helpful? You're not going to like the way you look. I applied there as a part time Customer Service Associate but instead the manager lied and put me on full time there. There was absolutely zero work-life balance to even manage my time working on other stuff.
The job culture there was the worst I have been through yet. Manager and assistant managers were rude as they are like elitists. I did not learn anything from there in experience and I'm glad I left to find better offers elsewhere. High energy work place.
This company is the best to work for when looking for job security. Great opportunity to move up in the corporate ladder. Big corporation should take note. Before i started at mw i had some sales experience. But the salesmenship and tactic i picked up here have been a blessing to me. In that i now im very confident Cincinnati dating expert crazy train clothing how i approach selling. Nice for college students.
Its was a nice job for me to earn retail experience and money for the summer. They also let me keep my job after the I was working at closed they offered to relocate me. Like every job there is good and bad, 4 years i had a lot of both. Company that was once great but has gotten to big for their own good. Has lost direction and sense of voice.
Freakquently change of manager went from bad to worse. They require too much from the tailors and not everybody else, have to take all the tags off a suit and shorten the hem and press for 5min. After reporting a work injury didnt file a report for a whole week because the manager was too busy!
After they finally file they call me in the office and told me they can fire me because I have been late couple times.
I quit and took care of my injure by myself! They bully other employees too! Best Job Ever loves this job, would gladly work there again given the oppurtunity. This company is not the same company I started working for 8 years ago.
Little to no management, sour attitudes, and no teamwork. Not even when I was a prominent member of the management team, with 6 employees working directly below me. Awesome envrionment, horrible pay. I love my job here. It is extremely laid back. It's easy to learn and the other employees are extremely easy to work with. The pay isn't great but if you work hard then the chances of moving up are high and can happen fast. I grew a lot as a person from my time working at TMW.
After a couple years Cincinnati dating expert crazy train clothing the retail trenches at previous jobs I thought I was a pro, but I had to lose the ego pronto once I started at TMW.
Every store is different, but mine threw me to the wolves and expected me to make quick, high-quality decisions and understand how other people made theirs. I got in trouble a few times, but my manager never gave up on me and ended up crafting me into a high performer.
In the end you're just selling clothes; it's simple when you think about it, but at some point it starts to feel like an art Cincinnati dating expert crazy train clothing. I'll be honest, the pay was terrible. Everyone at every level complained about it constantly, but we all stuck around because we legitimately enjoyed the work. Learning the rules of high fashion is fun, and the employee discounts were steep. We took pride in our work and we looked good doing it.
I recommend this job to anyone who wants some deeper retail experience in a high-touch sales environment, as long as they're willing to hold themselves to a permanent high standard. Flexible hours, overall healthy and fun culture, surprisingly good benefits.
